Hawaii Doggie Bakery ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our newsletter, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple on purpose - we are a small local bakery, not a data company.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us:
- Birthday Club and newsletter sign-ups: your email address, your name, your dog's name, your dog's birthday, and any social-media handle you choose to share.
- When you contact us: the email address and message content you send.
- Orders: if you buy from our online store, your order and payment details are handled on our separate store platform (see "Where your information goes" below). We do not see or store your full payment card details.
We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not ask for any sensitive personal information.
How we use it
- To send you our newsletter and Birthday Club treats and offers, if you signed up.
- To reply to your questions and fulfill your orders.
- To understand, in aggregate, how our website is used so we can improve it.
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
Where your information goes
We use trusted third-party services to run the business, and your information is shared with them only to provide these services:
- Mailchimp - our email newsletter and Birthday Club list.
- Shopify - our online store and checkout.
- Square - in-store and some order payments.
- Cloudflare - hosting and security for this website.
Each of these services has its own privacy practices governing the data it handles.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter email, or by emailing us.
- See, correct, or delete the information we hold about you - just email us and we will take care of it.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed to run the site and, where applicable, basic analytics. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.
